Staying at a Toronto B&B for a Weekend of Romance
September 17, 2011
You have both been working hard all week and you want a weekend of romance to rekindle that flame. So think about staying in a Toronto B&B for a weekend of romance.
Obviously you are going to want to have some privacy to kick back, just be together and have some relaxation and obviously fun. So the first thing you need is a bed and breakfast establishment where you can find some privacy in a comfy room, but still have a genial host that will serve you a great breakfast not too early in the morning.
A self contained room with an en suite bathroom will obviously be high on your list. There is nothing romantic about running down a corridor to use a public shower or bath.
You will probably be happier in an adult only establishment as well. Who wants young children running down a corridor outside your room during a romantic moment?
Toronto is a romantic city. It has to be with Niagara Falls only a 90 minute drive away! The cityscape is beautiful, the harbour wonderful and it is surrounded by wooded walks and parks. In the evening you will have a myriad of restaurants to choose from for your romantic dinner, hundreds of clubs to dance the night away and a thriving theatre district.
There are hundreds of different B&B places that you can choose from in Toronto for your romantic weekend away. You are probably going to want a cosy place with a romantic atmosphere. If you have particular sights you want to see in Toronto then try and choose one close by. Even though the transport system in Toronto is efficient, you will have more important things to do than travel too far.
There are Toronto B&B's that specialise in romantic weekends. For those romantic touches owners will even arrange for flowers or chilled wine to be waiting in your rooms. Some have CD players so bring some suitable music with you to woo your partner.
Some bed and breakfast owners will also recommend restaurants and/or places to visit. If you also book a theatre show ahead of time you will have the perfect weekend planned. Yorkville is one of my favourite areas in Toronto. There are all kinds of designer clothing stores, interesting shops and great restaurants.
Bloor Yorkville is a beautiful part of Toronto to spend an afternoon in. It has some unique architecture and is full of small boutiques, larger shops and wonderful restaurants. Maybe the romantic harbour area is more your style. There is a unique boatel moored in the harbour where your bed and breakfast stay can include sipping cocktails in the evening watching the sun go down on the romantic Toronto skyline.
One of the most popular Toronto B&B's is Boatel, Toronto's only boat B&B. But wherever you decide to stay for your romantic Toronto B&B break – enjoy yourself and come back soon.
Description
Boatel is downtown Toronto's only boat bed and breakfast.
